Roses presents the 2025 Festa Major Barraques program

The Càmping Bahia fairground will once again host, between August 12 and 17, the space intended for concerts and booths for this year's Roses Festival. Mama Dousha, La Fúmiga, Doctor Prats, Las Migas, Classe B and Estopaos will take to the stage for an edition that will also include sessions by renowned DJ'S, the 'Va parir tour' party by Ràdio Flaixbac and the new Barraquetes proposal, aimed at children and families. Roses celebrates Sant Joan and Sant Pere with festivities full of tradition by the sea

Once again, Roses will celebrate the eve of Sant Joan on June 23 with a party that will feature the arrival of the Canigó Flame on the promenade, a parade of giants to the breakwater, a bonfire, fireworks and dancing. On the 27th and 28th, the town will celebrate the festival of Sant Pere, patron saint of fishermen, with a popular dance, the traditional tirad de l'artó, fish stew and habaneras.

Roses is once again participating in the Women and Seafood Conference, which this year extends to four more municipalities

The GALP Costa Brava (Local Fishing Action Group), the Terres Gironines Cooperativa Ateneu and Inspira Gastronomia, are promoting the third edition of the Women and Seafood Cooking Conference, a project in which the Roses Economic Promotion Area has participated since the first edition and which aims to promote knowledge and the gastronomic heritage of women in the sea. MICFootball will bring more than 1,700 people to Roses

Between April 16 and 20, Roses will be the official home of the 23rd edition of the MICFootball tournament. This morning, the mayor of Roses, Josep María Martínez; the councilor for Sports, Miguel Ángel Muñoz; and the tournament director, Juanjo Rovira, presented the match schedule and the impact that the celebration of this sporting event will have on the population over the next week. 120 drones will welcome 2025 in Roses with a technological show followed by the Castell de Focs

Roses will experience a brilliant, technological and creative New Year's Eve with the inclusion in its programming, for the first time in the municipality, of a spectacular drone show that will light up the bay on the night of December 31.
