The adhesion scope includes the offices and buildings of the Port. It also includes mooring management services, dock and seafaring operations, the maintenance of port facilities and the collection of solid waste from the coast, the fleet of vehicles and boats, moorings and lighting in port areas and maritime signals.

The Programme of voluntary agreements for the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, was launched in 2010, through the Catalan Office for Climate Change. This Programme offers tools, support and recognition to those organizations that have facilities and/or operations in Catalonia and that voluntarily want to establish a commitment to reduce their GHG emissions.

Through an agreement, the organisations that join commit to monitoring their GHG emissions and to establishing annual measures to reduce them.

 

The initiative is aimed at any organization with facilities and/or operations in Catalonia, which has the capacity to reduce GHG emissions in Catalonia.
