Last December, Port of Roses and the Grup d’Esports Nàutics de Roses (GEN) renewed their collaboration agreement for the 2026–2029 period, with a clear commitment to promoting rowing as one of the key disciplines within the port’s sporting activity.

With this agreement, Port of Roses aims to continue supporting the growth of rowing, both at a training and competitive level, together with GEN, an organisation with a long-standing track record in promoting nautical sports in the municipality.

The agreement also enhances the port’s visibility across all rowing-related activities and other events organised by GEN. Our brand will be prominently featured on boats, equipment, competitions and communication channels, helping to project the Port of Roses locally and internationally.

Furthermore, this collaboration will allow us to continue generating content and communication initiatives to raise the profile of rowing and to strengthen the port as a benchmark location for sports activities.

Port of Roses will continue working to promote initiatives that energise the port and bring nautical activities closer to the public, with rowing as one of the key highlights of this new phase.
