This afternoon, the Councilor for Culture and Festivities of Roses, Sílvia Ripoll, presented the Barraques program for this August, with a varied lineup for all tastes that includes leading artists from the Catalan and national music scene, DJ sessions and a new children's program. The kick-off will take place on August 12th with MAMA DOUSHA , who will bring to Roses the energy and versatility of a repertoire characterized by a mix of rap, Latin rhythms and electronica. The night will also feature the fresh and modern proposal of the GOA POP DJ'S collective , who will offer two sessions full of pop and electronic rhythms to make you dance non-stop.

The next day, August 13 , the incombustible LIA NOVA DJ will start the night to make the audience vibrate with her fusion of styles until the arrival on stage of the Valencian band LA FÚMIGA and its explosive combination of festive music, ska, reggae and pop, with protesting and optimistic lyrics. At the end of the performance, LIA will return to the booth to round off the night with a second session.

The August 14th program will feature the performance of the sextet from Torroella de Montgrí CLASSE B , who will offer their repertoire of their own songs and energetic versions, with a style that the band itself has dubbed 'pop bailongu'. The highlight of the night will come from DOCTOR PRATS , a reference in Catalan festive music, with an explosive fusion of reggae, ska, rock and electronica that turns every concert into a party. The MON DJ session will close the night.

The internationally recognized female quartet LAS MIGAS will bring the elegance and stage force of their flamenco, Mediterranean music and contemporary sounds to Roses on August 15. Then, the Estopa tribute band par excellence, ESTOPAOS , will revive the great hits of the Muñoz brothers and, putting the final touch, DJ SEND0 will close the night with remixes of the most powerful groups on the Catalan scene and commercial and urban music hits of the moment.

The barraques program will end on August 16th with the festive summer tour VA PARIR TOUR by Ràdio Flaixblac , and its musical and entertainment show that combines the greatest hits of the moment with the best radio party.

BARRAQUETES, the concert for children

The Barraques space will host a new event this year aimed at children. In this case, it will take place in the afternoon (7:30 p.m.), on August 17 , and will feature the performance of LALI BEGOOD, who will present her show “Funtastik” , full of pop music, humor and positive messages for the younger audience. An afternoon designed to be enjoyed as a family and to introduce the little ones to the Festa Major atmosphere.

Bar and restaurant service and Punt Lila

The bar and restaurant service that will be offered in the huts installed in the venue will be managed, as every year, by the Carnival groups. The space will also have P unt Lila and Multicolor to guarantee a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. All concerts are free and the first performances of each night will start at 11 p.m. (see attached poster with schedule).
