News | 04/09/2026

Roses is preparing to celebrate the National Day of Catalonia with a program that will begin on Thursday, September 10 and continue on Friday, September 11, with cultural and festive proposals open to the public. The program includes a concert of Catalan songs, the reading of the manifesto, a sardana audition and a charity botifarrada for the benefit of the FADIR Association.

The events will begin on Thursday , September 10, at 8:30 p.m., at the Teatre Municipal de Roses , with the concert “Dreams of poets. Catalan song by author” , by Meritxell Puigdevall, voice, and Andrés Bastian, guitar .

'Somnis de Poetes' arises from the union of two artistic sensibilities with a clear purpose: to reclaim and give new life to a musical genre full of history and emotion, performing emblematic songs of Catalan music. Honoring the duo's name, the performers invite us on a journey through songs that have left an indelible mark on the history and memory of those who listen to them in Catalonia.
