The GALP Costa Brava (Local Fishing Action Group), the Terres Gironines Cooperativa Ateneu and Inspira Gastronomia, are promoting the third edition of the Women and Seafood Cooking Conference, a project in which the Roses Economic Promotion Area has participated since the first edition and which aims to promote knowledge and the gastronomic heritage of women in the sea. Between April 16 and 20, Roses will be the official home of the 23rd edition of the MICFootball tournament. This morning, the mayor of Roses, Josep María Martínez; the councilor for Sports, Miguel Ángel Muñoz; and the tournament director, Juanjo Rovira, presented the match schedule and the impact that the celebration of this sporting event will have on the population over the next week. Starting next Monday, April 14, and until September 30, riding a scooter, bicycle, tricycle, roller skates or similar on the Roses promenade will be prohibited between 12 noon and midnight, every day of the week. The measure responds to the desire to prioritize pedestrians and avoid inconvenience and accidents during the period and time of greatest concentrations of people in this space.
