The Podcastfest of Roses presents its most ambitious edition

News | 16/04/2026

La Sotana, Peyu, Albert Pla, Albert Om, Joan Maria Pou, Elisenda Pineda and Marta Torné are some of the highlights. The 3rd edition of the festival will be held on May 22nd and 23rd and will be held in the Ciutadella de Roses in a free format with food trucks, music and other activities.

Podcastfest Roses, the Catalan podcasting festival on the Costa Brava, has presented its third edition at a press conference in the Ciutadella de Roses, with the presence of the mayor of Roses, the councilor for the Culture and Festivals Area and other authorities who wanted to support it.

The festival, which will be held on May 22 and 23 in Roses, is taking a step forward in 2026 with a more ambitious proposal than ever. With the help of the production company La Manchester and with a change of name, among the main novelties, the change of location stands out: Podcastfest leaves behind Mas de les Figueres to settle in the Ciutadella de Roses, an emblematic space that will allow for an increase in capacity and a stronger audience experience.

The program will include 12 podcasts with a transversal and equal proposal. Of these, two will be paid and will take place on Friday at the Teatre de Roses, while the rest of the activities will be free on Saturday and will be concentrated in the Ciutadella where you can enjoy music, food trucks and a festival closing with a DJ set.

The line-up for this third edition includes La Sotana, who will once again rock the Teatre de Roses, while “Què t'ha passat?” with Albert Om and Joan Maria Pou or the podcast created especially for the festival with Peyu and Albert Pla promise to be the highlights. The popularizer Pere Renom will bring the audience closer to the experience of an eclipse, and La Riota will be in charge of closing the festival with a special guest, Tomàs Molina. Also participating will be figures such as Jordi González, with Marta Torné, who will leave the set of Col·lapse to move to the Costa Brava, or David Balaguer and Carla Rubio, who are making their debut at the festival.

The festival director, Georgina Arnau, highlighted during the presentation: “We are interested in continuing to bet on culture, bringing the most relevant podcasters in the country and moving them out of their comfort zone. It is the most ambitious line-up so far, we want to continue growing and betting on decentralization and Roses is a firm commitment.”

With this new edition, Podcastfest Roses reaffirms its desire to decentralize culture and bring it to the regions, consolidating Roses as the epicenter of Catalan podcasting and remaining the leading festival in the sector.

The festival already presented the line-up on Monday in Barcelona at Bar Bocata with the presence of podcasters and guests in a party format, to celebrate the new edition. Yesterday's presentation served, once again, to highlight the good timing of the project and the growing support of a community that already considers it an essential event on the cultural calendar.
