Turisme de Roses resumes activities and continues to offer experiences to experience Roses from different perspectives
With the arrival of September, Turisme de Roses resumes some of its most emblematic activities and continues to offer residents and visitors during the autumn, a wide program of experiences and activities to discover, enjoy and rediscover the municipality. The first to return this September are the activities of the Roses a Peu cycle, which this year celebrates its 7th edition, the Gastro Tour and the workshop "Let's become herbalists of Cap de Creus!", which are added to many other activities.
Return of successful activities
The Gastro Tour returns this autumn with four new sessions offering the opportunity to discover Roses through the gastronomy and products of the territory. The workshop " Let's become herbalists of Cap de Creus! " is also back , an activity to delve into the knowledge of plants and their traditional uses in the Cap de Creus area.
For its part, the Roses a Peu cycle begins its 7th edition on September 12 at 8 p.m. with a very special proposal: " Megàlits, myths and stars " , an itinerary that will be carried out for the first time at night and that will combine heritage, landscape, legends and sky observation. The cycle will continue in the months of October, November and December, with new departures that will be announced soon.
Gastronomy, heritage and nature, all of Roses within reach
Turisme de Roses continues over the next few weeks a wide range of activities that allow you to get to know Roses from very different perspectives.
The Roses Secret visit offers a walk that takes you through the places in the historic center that make up the identity of Roses, including access to the only shelter that can be visited within the urban center.
With a family audience in mind, Unga, unga! allows for a foray into the Neolithic era , where participants can travel back in time and discover how life was in the mountains of Roses more than 5,000 years ago, accompanied by some fun prehistoric characters. The theatrical visit Històries de la P... mili, for its part, offers young and old a mission with a touch of humor and adventure: to recover the military base of Punta Falconera and enter the old bunkers, under the direction of a very special general.
On September 4th, the last Port Visit + Cooking Workshop of the year will take place, while the fishing port visits are held every Friday at 4:30 p.m., with the exception of September 10th and the period between October 22nd and November 22nd, due to the biological shutdown of the fishing sector.
The program also incorporates proposals linked to well-being, with two new sessions " Meditation and tea at sunset at Punta Falconera " and " Meditate at sunset " , which will immerse participants in a spiritual experience and connection with nature.
You can also enjoy the coast of Roses and discover its seabed, with two last guided snorkeling trips.
