CLEAN4CHANGE 2022, a waste collection event open to all those who wish to participate in this worldwide event, will be held in Roses on 18 September. The activity is organised by TOMRA, a multinational company in the recycling sector based in Roses, with the collaboration of Roses ZeroPlàstics, Cabirols, Club Atletisme de Roses and Port de Roses.

The Cleanchange initiative brings together volunteers from all over the world to collect rubbish from leisure areas, the mountains and the sea, and take a step towards a cleaner and more sustainable planet. Roses requests a 15-year concession for the management of the anchoring buoy field.

It has included in the request the project for the installation of ecological dead bodies between Canyelles and Jóncols cove and the action would involve an investment of 888,000 euros.

This morning a new meeting of the monitoring committee of the Accessibility Plan for the Cap de Creus Natural Park was held in Roses. Created last year on the occasion of the application of the new measures for vehicle access to the park during the summer, the commission's objective is to coordinate these measures, attending to and anticipating all the needs of the population during the season, from public safety to aspects related to economic activity and tourist services.
